About Port Atlas

Port Atlas helps cruise passengers understand where they arrive, how to get ashore and what they can reasonably consider doing during a call. The collection includes coastal destinations, islands and expedition calls across the world, alongside its existing European guides. New destinations are added after research and editorial review; the directory shows the guides currently available.

Each guide starts with arrival information and brings together transport, places to visit and practical details. The quick facts are an introduction: your ship’s actual berth, tender operation and return instructions take priority.

A collection you can inspect

Guides carry a verification date and a short Sources section naming the official and operator sites consulted. The full verification record for each guide, including unresolved questions, is kept on file. Publication requires editorial approval. Our editorial policy explains how guides are sourced, reviewed and corrected.

Independent planning

Port Atlas is an information publisher. We are not a cruise line, tour operator or booking agent, and we do not control transport or access at any destination. Any commercial links are labelled and kept separate from guide text. Read the affiliate disclosure for details.
