Terms of use

Policy updated: .

Using the website

These terms apply to use of Port Atlas, published by Port Atlas in United Kingdom. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. The site supplies general travel information free to read; it does not provide a booking contract or a guarantee of an itinerary.

Travel information and your plans

We aim to make guides useful and accurate at the stated verification date, but information can change or contain mistakes. Check official travel advice, entry requirements, transport, opening arrangements and your cruise line’s instructions before relying on a plan. In particular, the ship’s return time, boarding rules and decisions about tendering take priority. Accessibility descriptions do not establish suitability for an individual’s needs; confirm arrangements directly.

A destination’s inclusion is not a recommendation to travel there, a current safety assessment or confirmation that a ship can call. Port Atlas does not operate transport, control port facilities or provide emergency support.

External links and purchases

External sites are managed by their own operators. Their content, availability, terms and privacy practices are outside our control. Bookings and purchases made after following a link are contracts with the relevant provider. Resolve payment, cancellation and refund issues with that provider. Some links generate commission as explained in our affiliate disclosure.

Copyright and acceptable use

The publisher and relevant rights holders retain rights in site design, original text and assets. You may read, link to and print reasonable portions for your own travel planning, subject to any rights permitted by law. Do not republish substantial parts as your own work or use our name to imply endorsement without permission. Third-party material and linked sources remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code or misuse contact channels. If you send a correction, you permit us to use the factual information to improve the guide; we will not publish your private contact details merely because you supplied them.

Availability and liability

We may update, suspend or remove pages. We cannot promise uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on general information, third-party services or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Law, disputes and changes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live. The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes; consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction where the law gives that right. Contact editor@portatlas.co.uk first if you would like us to try to resolve a concern. We may revise these terms for future use and will show the new policy date on this page.
