Port Atlas may receive a commission when you follow a labelled affiliate link and make a qualifying booking or purchase. The provider determines eligibility, prices and terms. A link is not a guarantee that a product is available, suitable for your sailing or the lowest priced option.
How to recognise a paid link
Affiliate links appear only in blocks headed “Ad — we earn commission from bookings”, including the “Plan your day” area on guides and destination hubs, and carry rel="sponsored". We keep them out of the guide’s editorial paragraphs. Display advertisements are separately labelled “Advertisement”. Where analytics is enabled and you have consented to it, a click on one of these links is counted as an outbound-click event so we can see which modules are useful; no personal booking details reach us.
The currently configured affiliate providers are GetYourGuide, Viator.
Your booking relationship
After following a link, you deal with the provider under its own terms, cancellation rules and privacy notice. Port Atlas does not take payment, fulfil bookings or handle refunds. Check meeting points, accessibility, duration and return arrangements directly. An independent excursion is not automatically covered by your cruise line’s arrangements if it returns late.
Tracking and editorial decisions
An affiliate URL includes a partner identifier. The destination service may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a purchase after you leave this site. Its own consent controls apply there. Simply reading a Port Atlas guide does not load an affiliate provider’s tracking script.
