For a direct Delos call, expect a tender transfer. SeaDream's destination information specifies offshore anchoring, and its Delos excursion describes passengers stepping from the ship's tender onto the island's tender pier. Use your cruise line's instructions for the landing, last return tender and any boarding assistance.

Delos Tours' Mykonos–Delos ferry leaves from Deliana Pier in Mykonos Old Port. Its Basic adult ticket costs €25 return, and the crossing takes about 30 minutes each way. Basic covers the ferry only; archaeological-site admission is separate. The operator's Premium package includes admission.

Select a return sailing that leaves room for the onward connection to your ship in Mykonos; a later boat is not a useful fallback if it misses all-aboard time. The operator warns that sea conditions can alter or cancel trips.

About this port

Delos is a UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site whose sanctuary and trading city can be explored together. It receives direct cruise calls as well as excursion boats from Mykonos. A boat ticket from Mykonos does not by itself cover the journey from a cruise berth to that boat's departure pier.

Getting Around

Plan a walking visit within the archaeological site and agree a turnaround point before setting out. The Ministry of Culture lists a ramp and accessible toilet at the museum. The outdoor ruins involve uneven ground; Silversea describes its archaeological walking tour as unsuitable for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility.

Things to Do

Build the visit around the relationship between the sanctuary and the later commercial settlement, rather than trying to tick off every excavated building. UNESCO's account explains both roles, while the site's own interpretation covers the houses, religious monuments and trading spaces.

Include the museum if seeing the original marble lions matters to you. The archaeological authority records their transfer indoors for protection; the outdoor terrace alone does not provide that encounter. The Ministry of Culture lists the museum and site under one admission.
