Begin with the arrival section, then consider how transport and walking fit together for your chosen visit. An island call may require a different approach from a mainland one. Compare the actual terminal with the visitor area you want to reach before settling on a route or mode of transport. Leave sufficient time to retrace the journey and follow the return arrangements given by your ship.

Getting into town
A walkable port isn't necessarily step-free. At tender ports, the walk starts at the landing. A fare may cover only part of the journey, so check the guide for the full route.
